Marksmen is Headed to INTA’s TMAP Meeting in New Orleans
September 11, 2017 — Marksmen, Inc., a world leader in brand protection services, will attend and exhibit at the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) Trademark Administrators and Practitioners (TMAP) Meeting next week in New Orleans, September 17-19. Marksmen’s CEO Jeff Crapo will represent the company at this year’s meeting along with Jacqueline McMahon, Director of Client Relations.
Karen Holme, of Sunkist Growers, Inc., and Daniela Rojas, of Hilborne Hawkin & Co., are co-chairs of the 2017 TMAP Meeting Project Team. The focus of the 2017 meeting is “Inspiration, Empowerment, and Infinite Possibility.” Topics include Social Media Best Practices, Challenges of Trademark Filing in China, and Indigenous Rights, to name a few.
INTA expects more than 300 trademark and brand protection professionals to attend this year along with more than 25 speakers. Keynote speakers for TMAP 2017 include David Emond, Executive Director of Liberty’s Kitchen for at-risk youth in New Orleans, Wendell Brunious, a legendary jazz trumpeter, and Bill Taylor, Executive Director of the Trombone Shorty Foundation.
New at this year’s TMAP meeting, all attendees will have the chance to participate in Bikes for Kids on Sunday. The pre-meeting team-building exercise offers participants a chance to build bicycles for a New Orleans non-profit.
