Directors
Ken Taylor (Chairman) has specialized in intellectual property investigations and associated services for over 15 years. Ken developed the business concept and vision for Marksmen and was the company's first employee. He is currently responsible for the management of all things Marksmen including new business development, branding, growth and strategic positioning. Ken has published articles on IP investigations, is a frequent speaker and is a member and has served on various committees of the Intellectual Property Constituency of ICANN, Computer Law Association, Intellectual Property Owners, International Trademark Association, Marques, International Anti-Counterfeiting Association, Triangle Intellectual Property Law Association and the California Association of Licensed Investigators (licensed both in California and North Carolina). Ken was an actor and playwright in another life and graduated with an English degree from Auburn University.
Jeff Crapo (Director) is currently Senior Vice President, Marketing and New Business Development at Helius, a Hughes company (NASDAQ:HUGH). Mr. Crapo brings 14 years of experience as a strategic-thinking leader with repeated success in designing/launching profitable products, securing new partnerships, and conceiving/executing innovative sales and marketing strategies. He joined Helius in June 2007 through its acquisition of PointeCast, where he was a co-founder and principal of the company. Prior to PointeCast, Mr. Crapo was SVP of New Business Development for NSC, a $275 million gift card wholesaler that acquired a customer loyalty program he co-founded. Mr. Crapo was selected as a finalist for the Utah Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and is a graduate of Brigham Young University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy/Information Systems.
